Since 2015, researchers Dr. Susan Neuhausen and Dr. Shiuan Chen at City of Hope have been examining chemicals in the environment and their relationship to breast cancer. Michele Rakoff, BCCRF Executive Director, has played the role as Community Partner and Kim Tankersley and Barbora Stankova, BCCRF Board Directors, are on the Community Leadership Committee. This research is funded by the NIH Breast Cancer and the Environment Research Program.
