Every year the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation hosts an Advocate Program in partnership with the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS). This year, the event will be virtual and applications to attend are open to all advocates. Program dates are December 8-12, 2020
The program is an excellent compliment to SABCS for advocates. There are Hot Topic Mentor Sessions where a panel of experts report on the most intriguing topics at SABCS that day. These programs are highly educational and attract top researchers and physicians to speak each year. They answer questions at the end of each session as well.
There are numerous other great partnerships at the Alamo Advocate Program including programs with NBCC, AACR, NCI and the FDA. It’s an intense learning experience and an opportunity to network with advocates and clinicians alike. We highly encourage you to apply and learn more here.
